Melinda Yao

Hi! I am a junior at Columbia University studying computer science. I'm interested in the intersection of tech, business, and journalism.

I'm the Publisher of the Columbia Daily Spectator, where I lead the Business & Innovations division.

I previously worked at The New York Times as an Interactive News intern, and at NBC News as a Data Graphics intern.

I grew up in Texas and am now based in NYC.
